Scotti had two parties, and while I didn't get many pictures of the party I did get a few before it started. Her birthday was on a Sunday, so we had a great dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Rafferty, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Dallas, Vinny, Owen, and Walter. We had so much fun! It is so fun to see Scotti grow into such a beautiful little girl. We had a purple and green Owl party and it was so much fun to plan and get stuff for it. Of course we bought much more stuff than we really needed or had use for, so if anyone is in need of purple and green things I am sure I can help.
Scotti crashed into the rock hearth two times that morning. She hadn't done it before or since, but on a day pictures will be taken one does try and show her best side. So if you wondered about the owies, that is the story. She was very clean with her cake picking off the frosting and when it was gone then shoving it all in.
While decorating for her party she decided to take advantage of the distraction and help herself to the dirt in the plants. She must have thought it was pretty yummy because it is the first thing she goes for if she gets the chance.
Her second party was a week latter with Grandma and Grandpa Barlow, Chelsea, Sheldon, Amber, Jesse, Brad, and Kenzie. The color of her cake changed from green to purple, and I forgot a few of the very cute decorations but it was pretty much the same thing.
Stats:
She had her one year check-up: 90% in height and head circumference and 50% in weight. She is 21 Lbs and 30.5 inches.
